OJ Picks Up Where it Left Off

First it was the Chili Cook-off. Then the Section Olympics. And finally, the undefeated boat race championships. OJ went out with a bang last year and the football team continued the winning tradition on Tuesday, Sept 30 trouncing OG 27-0. Rookie QB Damon Judd passed for four touchdowns and two extra-points in his debut as OJ QB. Ray Banks had two picks and caught a touchdown pass. Team captain Tom Ludwig had an interception, an extra point and ran a defense that only gave up two first downs. On the offensive side, receiver and USAF Captain Rob Mishev, used his 6’5″ height advantage for two receiving touchdowns. On the other side of the ball, Captain Mishev had a sack, a batted ball and forced several hurried passes keeping the OG QB in a constant scramble. Sylvie ‘Don’t call me the chick’ Tran caught for over 20 yards and shutdown the middle zone along with fellow linebacker Ash Jhaveri, who also caught a touchdown.

Spreading the ball around, Judd also connected with Brett Frood for a two-point conversion.
