Congratulations to Section F’s very own Feyi Folowosele (now Boroffice) and her husband Ope, who got married in Africa over the holidays.
Here’s Feyi’s report on the big event:
“Ope and I left for Lagos, Nigeria on Saturday the 22nd. After a short hectic week we had our traditional Yourba pre-wedding ceremony on Friday the 28th. This is when both families are formally introduced and the bride is sought after by the groom and his family with gifts and other pleasantries. Then we had our wedding in my family church on the morning of Saturday the 29th. Unfortunately, there were no F’ers to commemorate the event with us, although a couple of HBS’ers did attend. I think the scariest part of marriage will be changing my name. The wedding day was truly the happiest day of my life-exactly as I had imagined it!”
Feyi and Ope then jetted off to Nassau for their honeymoon, which they enjoyed so much that Feyi decided to skip the first couple days of classes. đ Congratulations to both of you!
