For the Chinese, it was the year of the Golden Snake. For the United States it was the year of the biggest tragedy ever to take place on American soil. For the world it was a year of reassessing what was really important. For all of us at HBS it was a time for introspections, to realize that the HBS stamp does not guarantee us our top choice of jobs, and to be reminded of the simple joys of being alive.
The year 2001 has raced past us, and at The Harbus, it is time to produce the last issue of the year, and with it pass on the baton to the Class of 2003. We have enjoyed being your weekly window on HBS. We now leave you in the able hands of Editor Nick Will (NI) and Publisher Susan Kim (NC), and their team, who will bring you HBS as they see it. As the Bible reminds us:
To everything, there is a season
And a time for every purpose, under Heaven
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace…
Have a wonderful holiday season!
From all of us at Gallatin Hall basement, we remain very truly yours,
The Harbus Team, Class of 2002
