9:00am-5:00pm Commencement Ticket Pick-up, MBA Student & Academic Services, at the counter on the 2nd Floor of Spangler Hall (bring HBS ID)
9:00am-5:00pm Pick up Class of 2003 gift from the Alumni Association (CD includes classcards, toolkit, class of 2003 video, and more). Pick up 2nd Floor Spangler Hall (graduates only)
COMMENCEMENT Thursday, June 5
7:00am Commencement Ticket Pick-up, MBA Student & Academic Services, 2nd Floor Spangler Hall
7:15am Degree Candidates Gather, Front of Kresge
7:30am Degree Candidates assemble for procession to Harvard Yard for the Morning Commencement Exercise. Meet with your section in front of Kresge. Section Marshals (Presidents and Ed Reps.) will be responsible for organizing sections. Academic regalia required; tickets required for anyone not in academic regalia. Class Marshals Sal Kahn and Annemarie Jensen will lead the MBA procession over the Weeks Bridge to Sever (1885) Gate on Quincy Street.
8:15am Arrival time at Harvard Yard
9:00am-11:30am Harvard University Commencement Exercises Harvard Yard (rain or shine)
9:15am-11:45am Live broadcast of the morning ceremony from Harvard Yard. If your guests were unable to obtain tickets, they may view the ceremony in air conditioned Burden Auditorium or Spangler Auditorium (first come, first served) on the Business School campus.
11:30am-12:30pm HBS Luncheon, Kresge tents and Boardroom. For graduates and their guests. Tickets Required. If raining heavily, luncheon will take place on Gordon Track, behind Harvard Stadium.
12:30pm-2:30pm HBS Diploma Ceremony, Baker Lawn. For graduates and their guests (no tickets required.) If raining, ceremony will take place in the Bright Hockey Rink, behind Harvard Stadium.
2:30pm-4:00pm HBS Reception, Kresge Tent (rain or shine) For graduates, their guests, and HBS Faculty and Staff (no tickets required).
2:00pm Harvard University Alumni Meeting and Commencement Address, Harvard Yard. Assembly begins at 1:45pm. Optional event held concurrently with reception at HBS (tickets required). Graduates (now Alumni!) meet between Massachusetts Hall and Harvard Hall under the “Graduate Schools” banner.
2:00pm Procession of alumni and dignitaries
3:00pm Remarks by Harvard University
