The African-American Student Union (AASU) is bringing together top black business leaders of today and tomorrow to examine various dimensions of wealth in the African-American community – from unprecedented gains in financial markets and corporate corner offices to increases in political, community, and intellectual wealth – at the 31st Annual H. Naylor Fitzhugh Conference, to be held Friday, January 31st – Sunday, February 2nd, 2003 at Marriott Hotel in Cambridge, Mass.
Black billionaire Michael Lee-Chin, known as Canada’s Warren Buffett, and Russell Simmons, the mogul of American Hip Hop, will head a roster of speakers on the conference’s theme: Redefining Wealth: Claim it, Grow it, Sustain it!
Hundreds of students and alumni of Harvard Business School will also honor Professor James I. Cash Jr., the first African-American to receive tenure at Harvard Business School, with a banquet on Saturday, February 1st that celebrates Cash’s numerous achievements….
The 31st Annual H. Naylor Fitzhugh Conference: Redefining Wealth: Claim it, Grow it, Sustain it! is open to all professionals and community members. Formerly the AASU Career/Alumni Conference, the event was renamed to honor H. Naylor Fitzhugh, one of Harvard Business School’s first African American alumni and a prolific leader in business education.
