The Harbus is pleased to announce we are accepting applications to our Harbus Summer Fellows Program. The application deadline for all applicants for Summer 2013 is April 24th 2013 at 11:59 PM general@harbus.org
This summer, the Harbus News Corporation at Harvard Business School is opening up our doors to invite talented, innovative and curious students as part-time interns, who are passionate about new media and tackling the challenges it presents.
Our interns represent all levels of study, and are trained in broad disciplines. They come to the Harbus News to tackle challenges related to the core of the Harbus’ agenda, including business management, digital strategy, business development, innovation, technology, new media, and entrepreneurship. Our summer interns plunge into the Harbus universe, where they are intensely and meaningfully contributing to our initiatives and efforts, which include executing on a business plan for a suite of new Harbus digital products, exploring new business models for The Harbus News Corporation, sourcing and signing syndication agreements with other news platforms and designing a new website for The Harbus. While we have plenty of high-priority projects for our [interns, fellows] to pursue, we’re also open to your creative suggestions.
In addition to joining projects, our interns are encouraged to participate in events across Harvard, and engage each other through community experiences like weekly interns discussion hours and monthly trips.
The best part? Each year interns can develop new ways for expression and creativity, such as organizing workshops, producing podcasts and videos; and hosting potlucks, cook-offs, and BBQs (it’s really up to you).
