I think HBS’s decision sent out the right signal – creating a strict guideline regarding what type of behavior it considers acceptable. But that’s not to say that we should morally condemn the guys who did this – most of the people here at HBS that I’ve spoken to said they couldn’t be sure that they wouldn’t have done the same if they’d been in that position.
