Quarterback Controversy at NA?

NA returned to the gridiron in triumphant fashion, with a 26-6 trouncing of OC last Wednesday. However, most of the hoopla following the game focused less on the impressive victory, than on the budding quarterback controversy, as unheralded rookie Robyn Brown received numerous accolades after her two successful completions. “Robyn looked cooler in the pocket than Al Gore’s political career” commented center Conner Searcy, adding that “she’s a lot easier on the eyes than that Pullin fella’.” No comment was heard from the NA Coaching Staff regarding a potential quarterback shift.

Lost in the Brown-frenzy was another dominant performance by the NA squad. QB Daniel Pullin threw for four touchdowns, two of which went to some skinny dude, and two to Patrick Flood, who put the exclamation point on the victory with a 55-yard, juggling circus catch in the waning minutes of the game. The NA defensive unit continued it’s stellar performance, highlighted with interceptions by Javier “The Minister of Defense” Ewing, Matt “Henry Ford” Roney, and Ryan “Mother Theresa” Desmond. Next up for the suave and good-looking NA squad: the much anticipated showdown with the still-quite-suave-and-good-looking-but-not-quite-as-much-as-us OA squad. Old vs. New. Here it comes!!
