'Twas the week before Hollidazzle or Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Twas the week before Hollidazzle and all through the section,
Lots of high dares shot from laptops in every direction.
All the flags were hung up from the ceiling with love,
And a Christmas light G was strung up from above.

All of G-Love was planted in nice swivel chairs,
All their focus away from the cold caller’s stares.
And Baffour beside Ritcha and Young in his cap,
Had just settled down for their mid-morning nap.

When out in the hall there arose such a clatter,
Joyce sprang to the door to see what was the matter.
From their chairs to the door she and David now flew,
Met by Ramon and Jeff on their way to the loo.

The light from outside was a strange sight to see,
Since our room had no windows, we lacked Vitamin D.
Then what to our wondering eyes should appear,
but Margaret & Marty in a pick-up with 50 cases of beer.

With a loud “Go G” yell that the whole school could hear, they called out to the section in the rousing “G Cheer.”

“Go Chris!, Go Chris!, Go Cris!,
Go Claire!, Go Claire!, Go Claire!,
Go Dan!, Go Dan!,
Go David!, Go David!

To the class, to the party , to the Hollidazzle Ball,
Now Dash Away! Dash Away! Dash Away All!”

As the section left class all the RC’s could hear it,
For G-Love knew their buddies would soon show their “spirit.”
While arriving through the doors to the Spangler Court,
G saw Tsafrir, Baz, and Enricco play the role of “good sport.”

They’d arrived for their high dares, it was almost “Game On!”
The did not fear embarrassment before Zaltman or Ton.
These were high dares, my friends, with G’s honor at stake,
They were not Erik Petersons…they would not fail or break.

They completed their tasks bringing honor to G,
Then the section went to Aldrich for case #3.
While its true that “Big Brother” was a big party pooper,
They were tried and true G’s and their effort super.

It had been a long week, but they soon would be done,
Free to drink the big case of champagne that they’d won.
And with that the semester would see its finale,
(well except for our finals…but I’m sure we will rally!)
So I wish you good luck and a lot of good cheer,

And look forward to sitting in skydeck next year!
