OK overcame a slow start to beat a good NC team. NC jumped out to an early ten-point lead in the first ten minutes of the game. OK fought back in the last ten minutes of the period to cut the lead to just three (26-23) at the half. OK relied on a strong defense and solid rebounding. The second half was all OK, as they built a lead on pressure defense, solid rebounding, and fast break points. Kevin Rabbitt led OK in scoring, while Nate Niles, Dan Burton, and Jim Wilder played a strong game on the boards.
