The 2001 Partners? Club Annual Harvest Hoedown, sponsored in part by Bain & Company, was held on Friday, October 26th at Codman Community Farms in Lincoln, MA. A boot-scootin? good time was had by all, as the sold-out crowd of 150 people, including partners and students (and one partners? parents) two-stepped the night away to great country music supplied by the John Penny Band. After some good grub (BBQ with all the fixins?), a few beers and some line dance instruction by Rob and Jess Zeaske, the barn floor was kickin? with country dancing all around.
Red and white checkered tablecloths, cowboy hats, boots and bandanas accented each table, as well as hay bales, scarecrows and pumpkins to celebrate fall. As the night went on (and a few more beers had gone), it was time for a rendition of a good ol? country classic by David Alan Coe. “You Don?t Have to Call Me Darlin?” was the entertainment highlight of the night, as second year students, Alex Alt, Tom Spivey, Brad Staats and Mike Flanagan led the group in a sing-a-long of the ol? country classic. The Hoedown was a huge success-special thanks to Bain & Company, Codman Community Farms, the John Penny Band and especially to all those partners and students that came out to the event. Hope y?all had a great time!
