On Saturday October 23rd, members of NI served alongside over 50 other HBS students and countless Bostonians in the Citywide Serve-a-Thon. Four members of NI, including Bret Connor, Monica Lee, Viviana Salinas, and Lane Walker, participated in a neighborhood improvement project in Fields Corner. Participants performed landscaping, clean-up, and painted a playground area.
NI’s first Volunteering MVP award was given to Monica Lee. Not only did Monica have a good attitude and work tirelessly throughout the day, she also demonstrated multi-tasking abilities by drinking coffee and painting simultaneously.
