Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

In perusing the latest BusinessWeek rankings of top business schools, I was surprised and dismayed to discover that the only reason this beloved institution does not occupy its rightful place as number one is due to our misguided and confused alumni. It appears that these illustrious “leaders who make a difference in the world” are of the opinion that we have a “placement center where officers were slow to respond to the ever-worsening job market,” as well as “an aloof administration.”

What a pity they could not have been here over the last few weeks to witness first hand just how efficient our career services can be, and indeed how effectively our administration takes decisive action in response to student concerns. I am sure that would have corrected their false impressions. Then again…perhaps we should be grateful for third place.

Yours faithfully,
MAJID H JAFAR (NB)
