The Lady Blades tied a local women’s team in a hard-fought 2-2 game on Sunday night. Led by an all-star performance in net, the defense did an outstanding job holding the enemy to only two goals.
Senior captains Camille Kubie (OA), Jen Daily (OF) and Grace Park (OA) led the strong second-year core, while Margaret Warden (OG) centered an outstanding first line of Pamela French (NG Partner) and Amanda Chasteen (NG). The Molloy sisters wheeled and dealed for the Channel 5 TV cameras, Cara Shortsleeve (NF) scored both goals in her flashy purple pants, and Ling Shao (NC) came to the rescue (again) by calling the second ambulance in two games.
Coach Brian held together the offence while Coach Michael taunted the defense, and everyone ended up happy at the Bus Stop. Stay tuned for travel reports from the Tuck Tournament.
