Sun., Feb. 23 – “Boston Philharmonic Orchestra.” (Sanders Theatre) The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra will perform Britten’s “Passacaglia” from Peter Grimes; Beethoven’s “Concerto for Piano No. 4” with John O’Conor; and Shostakovich’s “Symphony No. 10.” Sanders Theatre, 3 p.m. A pre-concert lecture with conductor Benjamin Zander will begin at 1:45 p.m. Tickets are $60/$46/$33/$22 general; $4 off for students and senior citizens; $5 student rush cash only, 2 per student, beginning at 1:30 p.m. the day of the concert (based on availability). Fri., Feb. 28 – “HRO Concerto Competition Winner Concert.” (Sanders Theatre) Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra presents a concert featuring the HRO Concerto Competition Winner: Schumann’s “Manfred Overture, op. 115” with Benjamin Vogt, assistant conductor and Tchaikovsky’s “5th Symphony” with Kevin Leong, guest conductor.
