The candidate list will be confirmed by February 5 and campaigning will begin February 9.
Once candidates are announced, they will have two weeks to campaign by talking to classmates, speaking to sections, posting flyers and recording a campaign message that will be distributed to students.
An information session held on January 28 for interested candidates attracted roughly a dozen RCs (others sent their apologies, as the meeting clashed with a scheduled inter-section snowball fight), who heard about the guidelines and asked questions of assembled members of the current SA executive.
The Harbus will be providing you with in-depth coverage of the election and candidates. We’ll be posting regular stories to our website at www.harbus.org. Our February 16 edition will feature and campaign and candidates, and our March 2 edition will look at the results and our new Co-Presidents.
