Das Speaks on "Five Useful Business Marketing Concepts"

The Thought Leadership Series is back and Prof. Das Narayandas will be the next speaker. For those of you EC’s who didn’t put Business Marketing down as 1 or 2 on your course list here is your chance to hear him speak. For those of you who are RC’s this is a chance to get a taste of what is one of the most difficult classes to get into next year, and to hear one of the best professors on campus!

Das was the class day faculty speaker for the class of 2001 and received the MBA 2000 award for teaching excellence. This is an honor received by the professor who was voted by graduating students to be most deserving on the basis of inspiration, knowledge transfer, accessibility, and career guidance. He is truly inspirational and has an honest interest in the learning of his students.

Das has sales and marketing management experience in various multinational firms and has been quoted in the Economist, U.S. World News and has had articles published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Service Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Sloan Management Review as well as other publications.

The purpose of the Thought Leadership Speaker series is to help expose students to some of the tremendous wealth of intellectual capital found here on campus, to extend academic learning beyond the classroom, and to create interest around the development and application of thought leadership here on campus.

The talk will take place this Tuesday (April 8th) from 3-4pm in Aldrich 108, and is open to all students.
